Coinean Mór

In Arran, 'tha an t-àm againn falbh thar a chéile', means, it is time for us both (or all) to go. (Dwelly)

Arainn nan Aighean Iomadh - Arran of the Many Stags, the Gaelic poetic name for the island

An 'Arainneach' (An Arran Man) may also go by the Gaelic nickname 'Coinean Mòr ' (Big Rabbit)

In the Arran dialect the name Arainn is pronounced /ɛɾɪɲ/
